If you play on PS3, make sure your PS3 is set to output in 720p. Plus the portability of all those tables is very convenient. True, the Vita version is a port, the visuals are lower quality and there are some glitches, but the physics seem to be looser, which makes the trophies easier.

If you only want to do one version, I suggest Vita over PS3. This game is cross-play (buying on one platform gives you the other platform for free), but trophies do not stack. Real life pinball physics are slightly different than something like Zen Pinball. If you're only used to other pinball simulators, like the Zen Pinball titles, you might find this one a bit of an adjustment. If you've played pinball tables in real life, the gameplay here will be very familiar to you. The Pinball Arcade recreates actual pinball tables as digital versions, down to each individual sound and graphic.
